Question 1

How quickly can you give me an estimate?

Accepted Answer

For most residential projects, we can have someone on site within 2–3 business days of your request. Emergency assessments can often be same-day. We’ll always confirm timing when you reach out.

Question 2

What’s included in the free estimate?

Accepted Answer

A full on-site inspection of your roof, a written itemized quote with material specifications, an estimated timeline, and a clear explanation of what we recommend and why. No vague ballpark figures.

Question 3

Are your prices fixed or do they change after the estimate?

Accepted Answer

We provide written estimates and stand behind them. The only time pricing changes is if we discover unexpected structural issues during the job — and we will always notify you before proceeding with any additional work.

Question 4

Do you charge for the inspection?

Accepted Answer

No. The on-site inspection and written estimate are always free with no obligation to book.

Question 5

How long does a full roof replacement take?

Accepted Answer

Most residential replacements take 1–3 days depending on the size, pitch, and complexity of the roof. We’ll give you a precise timeline in your written estimate.

Question 6

What roofing materials do you use?

Accepted Answer

We install asphalt shingles, metal roofing (standing seam and corrugated), cedar shake, synthetic slate, and membrane systems (TPO and EPDM) for flat and low-slope sections. We only source from manufacturer-certified suppliers.

Question 7

What warranty do you offer on your work?

Accepted Answer

All installations include a 10-year workmanship warranty from Ridgeline. If something we installed causes a problem within that period, we come back and make it right — no arguments, no fees.

Question 8

Is your workmanship warranty transferable if I sell the house?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our workmanship warranty is tied to the property and transfers to the new owner. We can provide documentation for real estate transactions.

Question 9

I have an active leak — how fast can you respond?

Accepted Answer

Our emergency line is staffed 24/7. For active leaks and storm damage, we can typically have a crew on site for assessment and temporary weatherproofing within 4 hours during business hours.

Question 10

Do you help with insurance claims for storm damage?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We work with all major insurance carriers. We provide full storm damage documentation, detailed photos, a written scope of work, and can communicate directly with your adjuster.

Question 11

What types of commercial roofing do you install?

Accepted Answer

We install TPO single-ply membrane, EPDM rubber roofing, modified bitumen, metal panel systems, and roof coatings. We work on retail plazas, office buildings, warehouses, schools, multi-family buildings, and industrial facilities.

Question 12

What type of gutters do you install?

Accepted Answer

We install seamless aluminum and steel gutters custom-fabricated on site. We also offer K-Guard and micro-mesh leaf guard systems, and we route downspouts to discharge water away from foundations.

Question 13

Are you licensed and insured?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Ridgeline holds Vermont Contractor License #VT-2003-RC and carries $2M in general liability insurance. We’re also OSHA 30 certified. Copies of all documentation are available on request.

Question 14

Do you subcontract work out?

Accepted Answer

Never. Every crew member on your job is a Ridgeline employee, trained by us, supervised by us, and accountable to us.
